I got back a response to my inquiry with Dr. F. Apparently, the LEAP study is bunk. $375 down the tubes. He said if you do the test 5 times you get 5 different results. My friend Ray also pointed me to a quack watch web site that said the test was dubious at best. It appears that Dr. Sharpe may not be the man I want.
I have an appointment with him on Thursday and will discuss it with him then. I was hopeful that he would do medical supervision of my fasting and allow me to do longer fasts. That may not work. I will post later on this.
The process of finding a alternative practitioner is daunting. Lots of crap out there.
